PATTERN CUTTING COURSE

Creating a good pattern is the foundation for every garment. In 8 lessons, you will learn step by step how to draft patterns and accurately measure, calculate, and incorporate measurements into a well-fitting pattern.

You will begin with the basic straight skirt pattern, and from there, you will learn to make variations with other designs. Throughout the course, skirts, pants, dresses, and sleeves will be covered.

In addition to pattern drafting, you will also learn to take different body shapes and postures into account. This will help you develop technical insight, such as: moving princess seams, laying fabric in different ways, and more.

During the pattern drafting course, you will have homework where you must work out a pattern in fabric, allowing us to assess the fit and make any necessary adjustments. It’s therefore helpful if you have some experience with sewing.​

Duration: 8 Pattern Cutting lessons. Per lesson 2,5 hours.

PRICE: € 318,- (incl. VAT) Payment possible in 1 or 2 terms. 

 

This course is suitable for both beginners and experienced participants.

Courses are conducted in both Dutch and English.
